Dieseltuning = Releasing engine-power in an electronical way, wich is already present in the engine in the mechanical way, but limited by the manufacturer in the ECU. It can be realised by EOBD tuning, Chiptuning or Powerpack tuning.
Diesel tuning: 3 ways of doing it….
First of all; what is Dieseltuning? For many people diesel tuning is a concept when additional engine power, keen acceleration and reduction of fuel consumption is involved. Since the introduction of the electronically driven (turbo) diesel engines in the beginning of the nineties many developments have been realised. Here is our explanation:
EODB tuning
Also called ECU flashing is a tuning method where certain parameters of the motor management are overwritten in order to RELEASE the extra power.
Plus: Not visible, hard to detect until 2006.
Minus: Detectable in new ECU’s, cannot be taken with you towards your new vehicle. With service-Updates there is a great change that manufacturer’s update will over write the files.
CHIP tuning
A pre-programmed chip is to be soldered into the Engine ECU to RELEASE the extra power.
Plus: Not visible, hard to detect until 2006.
Minus: Detectable in new ECU’s, cannot be taken with you to wards your new vehicle without extra costs (labour).
NOT possible for several brands and types of ECU’s (Denso, Delphi, Siemens).
Based upon these plus & minus informations and experienced “nogo’s” in the past, we have moved on to the development of the present diesel tuning, our POWERPACK.
Our objective was to develop and provide a tuning system for the consumer, without all the additional interventions for the engine ECU, and for the brand dealer, who could provide the client with an absolute full scale product, without the expensive garage hours and without investment in expensive equipment.
The present PLUGG-IT, DRIVE-IT concept includes a limited time in which a vehicle can be fully tuned, and can be brought back into the original status, this without the loss of reliability, quality or performance. Full scale digital and completely programmable to customer’s wish we now are able to send this product all over the world with software wich has been entirely developed by us. Our world wide customers now are able to tune every car via our vehicle database of over 2100 vehicles with our POWERPACK.

POWERPACK
Tuning where a pre-programmed chip as a “bypass” is plugged-in between existing connections in order to RELEASE the extra power.
Plus: Not detectable whilst diagnostic’s are done. CAN be taken with you towards your new vehicle against little costs. AVAILABLE for ALL brands and types of ECU’s (Denso, Delphi, Siemens).
Minus: Visible in engine compartiment. Can release max. 96 % of all extra available power
