Essing Dieseltuning BV was initially established to develop technological innovations for the racing track. We have developed innovative kart engines for kart teams, winners in subsequent seasons. At present Essing Dieseltuning BV, often in close co-operation with FIA, still contributes to the Formula-3000-Teams.
As such Essing Dieseltuning BV is now involved in the design of e.g.
brake-assist innovations and air-flow technique.
These innovations are often executed not only to achieve improved performances,
but also to improve the safety of vehicles on public roads.
Essing Dieseltuning BV is involved in various developments for the Formula-1-Teams as well, including Ferrari, Honda and Toyota.
In 1999 Essing Dieseltuning BV supplied Ferrari with an innovation to reduce pulsation losses in a Formula-1-engine at 19,000 rpm. At present Essing Dieseltuning BV
works in close co-operation with Honda and Toyota to change a sinus-shaped piston movement in a Formula-1-engine in order to achieve a more efficient movement pattern.
As such the Formula-1-engine is capable to perform better in competitive conditions,
and when conditions are harsh. Essing Dieseltuning BV supplies innovations which open up new horizons.
Based on these innovations we have moved on to the development of the present diesel tuning.
For many people diesel tuning is a concept when additional engine power, keen acceleration and
reduction of fuel consumption is involved. Since the introduction of the electronically driven (turbo)
diesel engines in the beginning of the nineties many developments have been realised.
Think of the traditional tuning chips (chip tuning) where a pre-programmed chip was to be
soldered into the motor management system, or EODB tuning (flashing) where certain
parameters of the motor management were exceeded.
Our objective was to develop and provide a tuning system for the consumer, without all the
additional interventions for the motor management system, and for the brand dealer,
who could provide the client with an absolute full scale product, without the expensive
garage hours and without investment in expensive equipment.
The present PLUGG-IT, DRIVE-IT concept includes a limited time in which a vehicle can be
fully tuned, and can be brought back into the original status, this without the loss of reliability,
quality or performance.
